Slept in 4 countries in 4 nights...day 1

Hmmph...

I never wonder that it could be happened to me
the silly thing start from my previous post...hahahah...just read it first, ^_^

Day 1,

it started with a phoned call from my friend who already wait for me in front of the nearest street of my boarding house in Central Jakarta. Unfortunately, though backpacking become our theme for this trip, we took Taxi to the Jakarta International Airport due to the early flight schedule, yup...Jakarta - Kuala Lumpur at 06.00 am. We can take the airport bus which is only cost IDR 20,000 per person instead of using Taxi which is more expensive, total IDR 110,000 including toll fee. Taxi can be the best ride when you've plan to go to the airport in group with 3, or 4 of your friends, average cost method.

International flights depart from Terminal 1 D (International Departure),
check your luggage, passport, NPWP (to get free from fiscal, it's a must!!!!), ticket, money and camera hehehehhe...

depart from CGK at 06.25 actually and arrived in KLIA at 09.25 am. "Ketibaan Dalam Negeri" hmmph Melayu language, similar with Indonesian. Take the bus from the airport to KL Central, Air Asia offer pre book during your booking, or just go to the ticket counter when you arrived at KLIA. It cost RM 8, for single trip and RM 14 for return ticket. So, i suggest you buy the return one if you've plan to continue your trip by Plane. Don't forget to get the Shuttle bus schedule for your reference.

trip from KLCC to KL central takes approx. 1 hour and it was so boring...i've met with Indonesian who've plan to stay in KL till mid of Nov, but he stay for work...lucky me..he bring some foods and share with me..hohohoho

arrival at KL Central looks like a basement, if you want to take a express train and take a rest while having a lunch you can get it at the top floor. We go up till we realize that we should go to our guesthouse at Bukit Bintang, so we must take a KL Monorail near the KL Central, which is at the ground floor (Bus Stop), continue with walking for approx. 10 minutes over the KL Central. Ask someone, if you're not sure where to go.

our first destination is Bukit Bintang, we need to take off our luggage. Backpack actually. we stay at the apartement owned by Indonesian, located at KL Plaza Suite..Bukit Bintang. Next, we go to Masjid Jamek by taking Monorail from Bukit Bintang to Bukit Nanas, change with MRT at Dan Wangi Station to Masjid Jamek Station. Unfortunately, we can't go inside Masjid Jamek because the two of us were not wearing hijab at that time...so just take a picture outside the building.

and the rain fall....aaaargh...but we agreed to continue our trip..bring ur umbrella please...we walk through the rainy day, keep spirit to face Merdeka Square, where most of the government office stated, national library, Bank Negara, Museum etc which is only takes 15 minutes from Masjid jamek, continue with Central Market (also walking) hehehhe...most souvenir available here...and outside the building you can find the cheap steam boat and various chopping snack hmmmph yummy..with a cheap prize..

next, it's 06.00 p.m already..ooops the main purpose...Suria Twin Towers..hohoho...we decide to go there at night because we love the lighting at the building instead of the view from the skybridge which is required us to take a queue since early morning to get the ticket...

so..let's take a MRT from Pasar Seni station to KLCC.

finally, it's time to go..KL Tower waiting...hohohoho...we take a slow walking from KLCC to KL Tower huhuhu..tired... a long way..and we couldn't capture a best view of KL tower=(

maybe it's time to sleep and once again walking become our favourite that day..from KL Tower to Bukit Bintang..hahah..it's hard after a long..long day...
take a rest first before continuing our journey tomorrow morning, take a shower...praying...and zzzzzzzzz,,,,,,

it's enough for today

Ticket Hunter.......

Hmmmph…
I don’t know where to start…but actually I know that it’s a must

However, our hunting started when me and my friends (Emy and Prew) found a cheap or we can call it “the cheapest” return ticket from CGK to KL offered by Airasia, best low cost airlines …heheheh…sounds like I’m one of their marketing sales…but it’s true we paid only IDR 215.000 for those ticket. Exclude airport tax from CGK – KL amount to IDR 150.000 (applied for all international flights).

We book for a week trip, depart on Oct 22 and arrive on Oct 27. Seems too long for just visiting Kuala Lumpur, but wait…we have another plan…hohohoo…dreaming to take an overland trip from KL to Bangkok , then continuing to Siam Rep (Cambodja) to see Angkor Watt. And Sipiriliiii…we’ve got ticket from Siem Rep to KL which is only cost USD 9 (What??????) hhuhuhuu…cheaper than the ticket of Business train from Jakarta to Surabaya, even Jakarta - Jogjakarta.

Times goes by, we realized that it will be to heavy and risky to take an overland from Bangkok to Siem Rep. According to our research, it’s not only wasting time but so much rip during the trip. Finally, considering that actually we have only six days and wanna enjoy this holiday (we back to the office at October 28)..we execute our last destination…Angkor Watt …See U next Time…

Hmmmph…it feels so long to getting closer to October 22….
We never stop talking about our plan….browsing each place must be visit when we were there…just too excited…huhuhu…

Then, we found that Airasia offer a cheap flights frm KL to BKK, IDR 235.000 huhuhuu….it was cheap considering that we have not to pay any airport tax for international flights…so…we got it…

The remaining issue is how we get back to KL due our return ticket is a CGK – KL – CGK???? A good advice for all of you, please ensure that you’re not make a booking for return ticket if u wanna go to various country…it cost more than u think…
So, we plan to make an overland trip from Bangkok (BKK – KL) but once again we execute that plan. Both of my friends buy a single trip ticket from BKK to KL cost at IDR 800.000 (wow…expensive compared to another right?...)
I didn’t buy the ticket due to the issue that I can’t join them at that day hiks…hiks…

It’s hard for me to face reality that our plan only can be their not mine…especially when October coming to the end…
I just think that maybe it was the best plan that Allah have for me…maybe I’ll go further next time…huhuhu…just try to cheer up my mind ^-^

Till I’m asking to myself…None can change yours except yourself…
So…I decided to join, but only till October 25...seeking the cheapest direct flights from Ba ngkok to Jakarta..but nothing left…hello, it’s October 21 already…huauhuau
There are many Airlines could be choosen…but which one offer the cheapest over various destination. Firstly, I think take a direct flight is a best choice, more time in Bangkok, no wasting time for traveling…but..Oh My God!!!! It cost IDR 2.2 mio huhuhuu..for Airasia, the same cost if I fly with Garuda Indonesia…damn….

Get a new Direction please…
Bangkok – Penang – Jakarta, huhuhu…total cost IDR 1,3 mio…not bad lah…but once again…the schedule can be stated as injury time. Bangkok – Penang will arrive in 10.15 and next flight from Penang to Jakarta depart on 10.45, execution made.

Next, Bangkok – Singapore – Jakarta
Finally I choose this one, cost IDR 1,3 mio. Depart from BKK on Saturday (Oct 24) with the last flights about 18.30 p.m continue with flying
From Singapore to Jakarta with the last flight of Air Asia. Depart on Sunday, Oct 25 on 22.15 p.m and arrived in Jakarta on 22.45 p.m

I’m not using Tiger Airways that time because it cost a lot than Air Asia. Sometimes, it can be cheaper…so don’t forget to check first.

Hunting ticket always can be a journey. Process to make a deal with the time, budget and risk of our availability especially the “TIME” which is so unpredictable.
Once u make it, you want more…
Just remember, “HIGH RISK HIGH RETURN”

Cheerish everyday you have, maybe tomorrow never come

Remember the creator, anywhere you are
Then,
You’ll see how’s great this world’s are

Ujung Kulon Yang Tertunda...Alhamdulillah kesampaian juga...

Oct 2-4, 2009

Cloudy afternoon at Ujungkulon
I've been living in this world for almost a quarter of the century...And seems would be never stop to Thanking The Creator with what kind of life that i have...Most of my day is a gift. Nice family, friends and blessed by Allah SWT. "Fabiayyi Aaalaa'i robbikumaaa Tukadzdzibaan."

This is one of the gift from Allah,

I always wanna have a trip to the place that i've never been. Other than "Hijjul Baiti Manishtatoo'a Ilaihi Sabiilaa", Ujung Kulon is one of those places. I've agreed to join with my backpacker friends (see, Baduy trip)to start our journey on Oct 2-4, 2010. I've no client assignment at those dates. Furthermore, a week before departure, everything changed. I've assigned to the out of town assignment. At the same time, Harris (EY Colleague) invite me to join his trip to Karimun Jawa, huhuhuhu...poor me. Ujung Kulon seems to be cancelled at that time. But, as i said..Allah loves me more than i ever think. I got the chance to go back to Jakarta earlier. Alhamdulillah...

Ujung Kulon here i come.....

I'm leaving Bandung (client site) at 2 pm and arrived at Jakarta at 5 pm. Made a flash shower and packing, Pray and go to the IDX building. The meeting point. We should be there at least at 6.30 pm. I'm late, of course. But some friends still wait for me. Thank's a lot to Febri (Pak Ketu, XL), Guntur (World Bank) and Chandra (My very Bestfriend). We took a short trip with taxi to Slipi, where's the "Rental Car" waiting. Around 8 pm we depart from Slipi to Taman Jaya, the starting point towards Ujung Kulon. 14 persons in one car for almost 8 hours, Hahahah..what a trip....

We arrived Taman Jaya approximately at 4 am. Have a very late dinner (everyone had their own belonging), take a rest and continue our trip in the morning.

Whenever we are...just remember and be thankful to the creator...then, we will see how's great the world's are...

Sweet escape
Bolang2 Jakarta
This trip cost IDR 700K (All In)
