Day 9, A gift from me to myself...

A new day, a new month. July, the 7th month in a year. The month when "the Choosen One" was born. And July..is a holiday season....

Today is a 9th day of my backpacking trip in 2011. The second day where's the topic of this trip change into Holiday, Singapore.

After jumping into adrenaline rush in Clark Quay, today we visit Chinese Garden. Yups Chinese Garden. An open area stated at Chinese Garden MRT station, fulfill with the chinese atmosphere such as the building, statues and temples. In spite of the name as "Chinese Garden", this area consist of two area, Chinese culture and Japanese area. But in my opinion, the Japanese area was not so Japan..

We woke up too late this morning, hence we reach this garden around 10.30 AM. Even we still could smell the fresh air, but sure...take a walk in this area in the morning would be best. Even, jogging. But cycling is prohibited.

I love to take a walk here ^^

After have a light walking at the garden, we move to IKEA at Anchor Point Queenstown. Having a lunch at Halal KFC and ....Hohohoh..it's shopping time. I've got two pair of shoes and sunglasses at Charles & Keith Anchor Point on very affordable price ^^..

Next destination, we decided to enjoy Singapore great sale by visit Orchard road with the whole shopping centre among the area. Not only shopping...i must visit Kinokuniya to get "my dream books" and tadaaaaa...here the books..

This book became extinct from the Indonesian bookstore since a long time a go. I've been looked for in some Periplus and Import bookstore, even online shopping but the result was nil. So, you can imagine what the feelin' when i found it.

Davinci Code hardcover with the special creatures and pictures of the places where the scene taken. Print in a glossy paper and full colour causing this books become one of my favourite sinnce i found it at the library at Airlangga University (my college) and i want to have it someday.

After having door-to-door shopping at some shopping centre at Orchard, we decided to leave and i dont know why, that day i feel exhausted and fall asleep just a moment after arrived at the guesthouse without starting to pack my belonging. Yups,unfortunately we have to finish our holiday tomorrow...

But, i will keep the fresh air and experience that i've got at the Chinese Garden, window shopping at orchard and the books itself as A gift from Me to Myself..
